Finished the Citrus Socks. They're not blocked yet (and they really need to be) but here they are.
My third pair of socks in about a month, can we say sock junkie?
And here is one of the current WIPs. This is my TV project, because it is completely mindless. Really, truly. Eventually, all of these little cotton circles and squares and rhombuses will be joined together in the world brightest bathrobe. I'm not sure if you can technically call it freeform, since I'm not hooking them together as I go, but the principal is the same. Well, as far as I can tell, it is.
And here is a gecko that was hanging out, upside down, on my porch ceiling Tuesday night when I got home from the SnB. Sticky feet are very hip, hence his inclusion here.
One more book to report.
32. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy - Douglas Adams. Ok, this is the third time I've read this book and I know I've enjoyed it each time. But I can't retain a cohesive memory of it for more than 2 weeks. Even now, important plot points are fading away. I don't understand it, but I've come to accept it.
I have all of Douglas Adams' books in one volume, so I'll be working my way thru all of them, eventually, if I remember to...
Best line in the book (written down so I won't forget it): "Ford," [Arthur Dent] said, "you're turning into a penguin. Stop it."
And finally, Melanie and I will be at Coffee Rush at 2 today if any one would like to join us. You can come marvel at the SWTC test sweater that I'm finally going to pick up again.

Kick a** gecko!!!
I read HGTTG years ago and can't remember it. I read "The Long Dark Tea Time of the Soul" (also by Adams) and can not remember it...but I know I liked it. So that must be a particular quirk of ol' Douglas. I think the charm of his books is not that we necesarily remember them, but just revel in the words and phrases as we read them. Being coherent isn't that important to a Douglas Adams work.
Cool gecko!!
