Back to our regularly scheduled program

First and foremost, this is supposed to be a crochet blog, hence the punny title at the top of the screen.

So, to direct attention away from my recent school stress and boy craziness, I bring you:

YARN PORN

Some thick and thin acrylic I just won off eBay. I have no intended purpose for this, but it was cheap and I loved the color. It's a very Illanna lime green.

A close-up of the swatches. L to R: M hook, N hook, Q hook. Depending on the project, I think I'm leaning towards the Q.

And a shot of the SWTC sweater, to prove that it is growing. Remember, this has recently been visited by Kermit, so a lot of progress has actually been made.

I did manage to finish another book with bedtime and break-from-reading reading.
34. The Restaurant at the End of the Universe - Douglas Adams. Same gang as Hitchhicker's Guide with more temporal confusion.

"On Earth,...the problem had been with cars. The disadvantages involved in pulling lots of black sticky slime from out of the ground where it had been safely hidden out of harm's way, turning it into tar to cover the land with, smoke to fill the air with and pouring the rest into the sea, all seemed to outweigh the advantages of being able to get more quickly from one place to another - particularly when the place you arrived at had probably become, as a result of this, very similar to the place you had left, i.e. covered with tar, full of smoke and short of fish."

Now, enough procrastination. Back to the reading. I leave you with this:

"I am so hip I have difficulty seeing over my pelvis"-- Zaphod Beeblebrox.
