The Monster at the End of this Post

Grover is my favorite Sesame Street monster. Every wonder where he's disappeared to? The true story can be found here.

And it's good to know that Grover feels the same way about Elmo that I do:
"You know, I always tried to speak to the children like intelligent little adults. Our job was to entertain, yes, but also to teach. But the message Elmo seems to send out is that it is OK to never grow up, to always act like a screaming, annoying baby with a speech impediment."

And this is just hysterical. And anytime Ham Solo and Chewbroccoli can teach you something, you know it's good.
"Aren't you a little tall for an Egg?"

Crochet progress is currently backwards instead of forwards. The SWTC sweater was frogged in its entirety. I think I've gotten past the pattern issues that were make the rows uneven, but I let it sit too long and my hooking tightened up leading to the first few rows being significantly wider than later rows. Starting fresh sounded like the best idea. And besides, it's not a Pam Project unless I've taken it back to ball form at least twice during the process.

School started yesterday. On the plus side, the majority of my books have arrived and I think I'm finding my way around the courseweb/blackboard online system. On the minus side, I have 100 billion pages to read and I'm never going to leave my computer room again. This was a good idea how?

And I'm taking 29 billion new vitamins and supplement thingys right now, all sold by my workplace. My pee is fluorescent yellow and I feel like all I'm doing is swallowing pills, but it's all in the name of good health. Because, if you're going to be stuck in the computer room 18 hours a day it just makes sense to be healthy while doing so. And maybe once I get all the Twinkie preservatives out of my system, when I die my body will actually decompose instead of staying grocery-store-shelf fresh for a few years.

Oh my God. The Store Wars thing is the most hysterical thing I have ever seen. Pam, may the farm be with you! Obi One Cannoli...I can't stand it!

That is the gol-dang punniest thing I've seen in a long time. And Grover... who knew?
